Earth Fest | April 20
Come celebrate our planet and learn how to take better care of it at OKC Beautiful’s Earth Fest on April 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Scissortail Park. With live music, local vendor market and classes, this family-friendly event will be fun for all ages.
Festival of the Arts | April 25-28
This annual favorite is one you won’t want to miss. Produced by the Arts Council Oklahoma City, this four-day festival brings live music and performances, savory and sweet treats from local restaurants benefiting local nonprofits, and more than 140 artists showcases their artwork for your viewing and purchasing pleasure. Stop by Bicentennial Park to catch all the excitement.
OKC Memorial Marathon | April 26-28
Commemorating the lives lost, their loved ones and those who survived the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995, the OKC Memorial Marathon raises funds for the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. Even if you aren’t up for participating in one of the six races throughout the weekend, all are welcome to cheer on race participants and stop by the health and fitness expo to check out the vendors.
2024 Canoe/Kayak Slalom and Kayak Cross Olympic Team Trials | April 26-27
RIVERSPORT is hosting the 2024 Olympic Team Trials for two disciplines, Canoe/Kayak Slalom and Kayak Cross, with 50 to 100 athletes from across the U.S. vying for the opportunity to compete at the Paris Games in July. Saturday, April 27 is especially exciting with the Canoe/Kayak Slalom finals happening from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and the Kayak Cross competition and finals going on from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The day will end with live music starting at 7 p.m. and the Team U.S.A announcement at 8:15 p.m. followed by fireworks.
