Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching and ready to officially usher us into summer. What better way to celebrate the holiday weekend and kick off your favorite season than visiting one of The City of Oklahoma City’s spraygrounds, pools or aquatic centers opening Saturday, May 25.
The 16 spraygrounds across the city will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. until September 28. For a full list of the parks that include spraygrounds, visit the City’s parks and recreations department website.
The Northeast Community Pool, located at 1300 NE 33rd St., will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is free.
The City of OKC Parks’ aquatic centers will open at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 25. The entry fee is $6 per person/per day. Both the Earlywine and Will Rogers Aquatic Centers offer season passes for families to enjoy the facilities all summer long. Individual season passes are $45 or a family pass for four is $145, with additional passes available for $35 each. Swim lessons are also available at either aquatic center. For more information on the aquatic centers, season passes and swim lessons, visit the OKC Parks’ website.
