The Oklahoma City Museum of Art is celebrating its 80th anniversary with a landmark exhibition, From the Vault: The 80th Anniversary Exhibition.
This special collection features more than 150 works, including sketches, paintings, sculptures, photographs and other pieces from the museum’s permanent collection. From the Vault showcases artwork that has either never been displayed before or has remained out of public view for more than five years.
Through this exhibition, visitors can explore the evolution of the museum and its role in shaping Oklahoma City’s vibrant arts culture. Guests will not only experience decades of collected art but also gain deeper insight into each piece through gallery text detailing the significance of the works on display.
Notable artists featured in the exhibit include Georgia O’Keeffe, Edward Hopper, Oklahoma artist Oscar Brousse Johnson and Nan Sheets, among others.
From the Vault is open now through April 27. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday.
General admission is $14.95 for adults, $12.95 for seniors (62+) and college students and $9.95 for military members. Museum members receive free admission.
