Farmers Markets in OKC
Farmers Market season is upon us and that means exploring all the different Farmers Markets around Oklahoma City. Farmers Markets are a great place to pick up fresh produce, fresh meat, coffee, spices, baked goods and more while supporting the community. Below are some of the top farmers markets to check out.
Scissortail Park
Hang out downtown in Scissortail Park each Saturday from April to October, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and stock up on some of your essentials for the week. Shoppers can choose from a variety of baked goods, fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, poultry and more.
The farmer’s market is at Scissortail Park with free parking available around the park’s perimeter and in the special event lot on the northwest corner of Oklahoma City Boulevard and Thunder Drive across from the Paycom Center.
There is also a Wednesday Mid-Week Farmers Market at the Hill Pavillion, lower park from May 15 through September 18, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Urban Agrarian
This may not be the traditional farmers market but it is still a great place to check out. This place is great if your other weekend plans conflict with those early markets. Urban Agrarian provides an amazing selection of locally grown produce, dairy, pasta, pastries and more. Urban Agrarian makes it easy for shoppers by making it easy to come in on their own or have their food set for delivery or to be picked up.
They can be found in the Historic Farmers Market District or downtown Edmond.
Eastside Farmers Market
Come out and see the Eastside Fresh Market for yourself, located in Northeast OKC. This newer market is a food access hub for the Northeast part of Oklahoma City while allowing Northeast OKC farmers and other area food producers to sell their items. This is a great place for families to check out and participate in classes and activities.
The first date of the market is May 7 and will be open each Tuesday, running through October 15 with hours from 4-7 p.m.
