The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum is stepping into history with its latest exhibit, Cowboy Boots: From Roundups to Runways.
Presented by Lucchese Bootmaker, this exhibition takes guests through nearly 160 years of cowboy boot history, exploring their evolution from practical footwear to cultural icons. Visitors will be able to see an array of boots, including those worn by celebrities, athletes and working cowboys.
The exhibit traces the origins of cowboy boots from the cattle-trail era of the American West to their influence on modern fashion and society. It also highlights their transformation from Civil War-era riding boots to the signature cowboy boot design recognized today.
Cowboy Boots: From Roundups to Runways is on display now through May 4. The museum invites all guests to experience the deep-rooted history of cowboy boots and their lasting impact on Western heritage.
